The mission of the MPD is to unite as many pro-democracy forces as possible in the United States to develop a united front against fascism, the greatest threat to peace, without exception to race, color, creed, religion, political affiliation, gender, or national origin.

The Precautionary Principle is used by European countries when it comes to new drugs and foods like GMOs. We do not use this principle in the United States and there seems to be an intentional avoidance of looking at the health risks of 5G in a rush to the marketplace. There are many powerful forces pushing 5G because of its potential economic impact but also because of its implications for the military. 5G has become part of the weapons race which is one reason that US is targeting the Chinese company Huawei. The Chinese are in the lead on this technology and Huawei is the leading corporation on 5G. See e.g., The Overlooked Military Implications of the 5G Debate, How the 5G network could benefit the military. The US has consistently put technological, economic and military advancements ahead of health impacts, 5G seems to be repeating that history, e.g., coal, fossil fuels or nuclear weapons.
I have been monitoring the research on 5G to try and understand the issue and still learning. The evidence of health risks seems to be piling up. Below is a link to a brief video that provides a very clear explanation of the 5G problem by the former president of Microsoft Canada, Frank Clegg. Once this technology is in place health impacts will become more evident but it will be difficult to dismantle. Putting the genie back in the bottle is always a difficult task as we see with Glyphosate, now proven to be cancer-causing agent, but remaining on the market and basically unregulated in the US. If we are going to avoid the health risks of 5G we need to act quickly to demand the application of the Precautionary Principle, i.e. prove the technology is safe before it goes to the market.
